The Viper Pro Series 1500W Anchor Winch is designed for larger vessels and serious boating applications where high pulling power, large rope capacity and dependable performance are essential. Powered by a substantial 1500W electric motor, the Pro Series II 1500 delivers the torque required for larger anchors, heavier ground tackle and demanding deep-water anchoring. Depending on the rope and chain configuration, the large-capacity drum can accommodate substantial lengths of anchor rope, making it particularly well suited to offshore fishing and deeper anchoring applications. With an impressive fall rate of up to 55 metres per minute, the 1500 allows fast anchor deployment while delivering the powerful retrieval performance required to bring heavy anchors and chain back onboard. At the heart of the winch is a one-piece 32mm solid stainless steel shaft supported by three bearings, providing strength, stability and dependable operation under load. The heavy-duty housing incorporates Viper’s 90-degree welded frame design, which minimizes the gap between the drum and surrounding structure. This helps reduce the possibility of rope entering unwanted areas around the drum and eliminates the need for additional rope guards. The frame and drum assembly are manufactured from substantial 8mm plate 316 marine-grade stainless steel and hand polished to a mirror finish, providing outstanding strength, corrosion resistance and premium presentation. Complete the installation using your own correctly specified marine cabling or one of Bell Marine’s custom-made tinned copper marine wiring looms for a professional, purpose-matched electrical installation.
